Bottom of the Sea

Putting together an album

I had always wanted to record an album. In spring of 2017, a few months before we were going to be moving away from Memphis, I decided to finally get the project done.

I had met Francisco Pais the previous year at a conference. We had talked about working on a project together, so I got in touch with him and asked him if he’d be interested in producing. I had a bunch of songs I had written, and was just trying to decide what to use.

Francisco had a suggestion that, while unexpected, ended up probably being the best idea for the project. Francisco suggested I take thirty days and just write a ton of new material, rather than trying to assemble something from songs I had written over the past several years.

The material I ended up with is what ended up on the album, recorded over three days at with Francisco, Sam Shoup, and Pee Wee Jackson, whose contributions are immeasurable.

I hope you enjoy this mix of songs about my aspirations, my life, my family and loved ones.

Behind the Scenes

Listen up.

It all begins with an idea. Maybe you want to launch a business. Maybe you want to turn a hobby into something more. Or maybe you have a creative project to share with the world. Whatever it is, the way you tell your story online can make all the difference.
